Garden Brew is Radia Rogers: one grower, baker and tea blender who mixes every blend herself, bakes Jamaican pastries to go with them, and sets up a booth at local farmers markets. Here is how it all works, from seed to cup.
About us
Every cup tells a story.
Every cup tells a story, and every cup is more than just tea. Garden Brew was founded with a passion to get back to our roots: a Jamaican way of life where wellness, connection and community mattered most.
Our Jamaican ancestors taught us how to live long, healthy lives by living off the land and using it as medicine, just as our Creator, YAH, ordained it to be. This is our heritage and our lifestyle. It builds unity and love as we gather together to tell stories over tea at dawn, noon and supper, where conversation flows as freely as the tea we serve.
Our mission
Our mission
At Garden Brew Tea Café & Bakery, our mission is to inspire a healthy lifestyle and a lasting connection with every sip. We are dedicated to serving high-quality, organic, non-GMO teas, sustainably sourced from our own garden, local farmers and trusted organic suppliers. We serve them in a welcoming space to relax, recharge and build community, starting at our market booth. With every brew we blend tradition with creativity, so that each cup becomes a healthy and meaningful experience.
Our vision

Meet Radia
Meet Radia
Radia Rogers owns Garden Brew Tea Cafe and does the part that matters most herself: she grows the sorrel, mint, ginger and turmeric, dreams up every original blend, and bakes the Jamaican pastries that share the table.
Radia's roots are in Jamaica, where her ancestors lived off the land and turned to the garden to stay healthy and strong, a heritage she sees as a gift from YAH. Tea time there was never rushed: at dawn, at noon and at supper, family gathered around the pot, and the stories flowed as freely as the tea. Garden Brew is her way of keeping that table going and sharing it with her community.
Her baking and blending grew out of that same heritage: the spiced bun, the ginger bulla and the herbs her family trusted. She keeps careful notes on every herb she works with, from how it tastes to what it has traditionally been used for, and builds each blend around them. Everything is made with organic ingredients, grown in her own garden, bought from local farmers, or sourced from trusted organic suppliers.
Her signature is Sorrel Ginger Citrus: garden sorrel with ginger, clove, pimento and orange peel, the flavors of a Jamaican Christmas, any day of the year. Today twenty blends share the table with her spice bun, bulla and biscotti, each one mixed or baked by hand in small batches. Her hope is simple: that every cup starts a conversation, and everyone who stops by the booth leaves feeling a little more at home.

Everything in the cup has been through her hands first.
A Garden Brew blend starts in the garden, long before it's ever a cup of tea. This is the whole process — slow on purpose, and the reason the tea tastes the way it does.

Step 1: Grow
Jamaican sorrel, mint, ginger and turmeric all grow in Radia's garden. Sorrel is a hibiscus — the tea comes from the deep-red calyx that forms around each flower once it has bloomed.
Ginger and turmeric grow underground as rhizomes. Mint spreads wherever you let it. What the garden doesn't grow comes from local farmers and trusted organic suppliers, so every ingredient is organic and non-GMO.

Step 2: Pick & dry
Sorrel is picked by hand and dried. Ginger and turmeric come out of the ground and get sliced and dried too. Mint is cut fresh.
Each harvest is dried and prepared by hand in small batches, so the color, aroma and flavor come through in the cup.

Step 3: Blend by hand
Every recipe is Radia's own. She mixes each blend by hand in small batches — tasting, adjusting and tasting again until it's right.
The recipe is hers, not a supplier's, so the blend you buy is the one she settled on.

Step 4: Bring it to the market
Pouches get their labels, the jars get filled, and everything goes in the car for market day.
The tent goes up, the monstera tablecloth comes out, and the same person who grew it is the one handing it to you.
Garden Brew Tea Cafe is a farmers-market booth. No storefront, no counter, no hours on a door — just a tent, a table, and whatever Radia grew, blended and baked for market day.
Most people meet Garden Brew by walking past the tent. If that's you — welcome back.
Preorders are open too. If you'd rather be sure your tea or spice bun is set aside, tell us before the market and pick it up at the table. Right now everything is picked up at the market — delivery and shipping aren't offered yet.
Garden Brew Tea Cafe is a farmers-market booth, not a walk-in café. Please check the schedule before making the trip.
